Give us a simple walk around thing. Maybe some offline chat.

I will gladly host a file for you, whatever the size... I just need it though, or you could upload it to my server via. SSH

There's a nice file transfer thing in SSH, works just like an FTP program, I can find it for you, or you could use google.

I wan't to see if this thing is real... So why not give us a compiled EXE of what you have right now?

It's fake, alright. Copy and paste the second picture into a graphics editing program like Paint Shop Pro, and you'll see that the second line of the private chat is one pixel above the second line of public chat. 718 x 475 is an irregular screen size, anyway (Gives an aspect ratio of 1.5116 to 1).

Bout time someone else notices the aspect ration of the screenies other than me.

That was one of the reasons I thought it was a fake, because of the odd resolution, and thus the oddly needed camera aspect. I really doubt Sage Tech is the type of person who could figure out the camera aspect of anything.

Hey sage tech, a little word of advice. If this really is fake, keep putting it on untill April fools day maybe you won't get flamed off the face of the earth then. Oh and I don't give a rats ass if this is fake, I could care less, just some advice thats all.

At my friend's house we always set the monitor to a low resolution and clone it to his TV so one person can be on the computer and the other lay on the bed and look at the TV.


If that is a fake it's a nicely done fake. Give him credit for that.
But I don't think it's a fake. Nobody's that tarded.

It's looking good Sage. Keep working toward that demo.

lolz, Mx5, i partially agree with you, and i partially agree with the positives, but, just a little tip, an "idiot" could not keep "idiots" like you debating against "idiots" like me in this "idiot" forum for 4 pages, over 3 screenshots that, if they are fake were done way beyond the grasp of an "idiot"

good reasons:
1) he has NOT even shown us an alpha. He is ignoring us, and just going along.
2) he is obviously a noob. He says that his dad made the netowrking, and he is adapting it, but he still has not given any screenies with swords or crap.
3) I should not even be giving this, because you are a complete noob who does not realise that his idea "maybe 1000-2000 players at first on my 1 server" can NOT happen. even 1 computer server with T5, cannot work. You need atleast 3-4 for 100 players, on this sort of 3d game.

yup a server maybe able to hold 1200 but not one made with dbpro mate. Those shots are easy to make a camera in a 3d level with some sprites and u take a screenshot come on any noob can do it.

Well, not one made with DBP's Multiplayer commands. Use a 3rd party DLL with DBP or what not (such as the one the DarkTopia team is using) and it should run fine.

Getting his friend to post wont prove much he could just get anyone to do it basicly. Ya i know 3rd party dlls work a charm but even so you get lag on commercial systems let alone amatuerly developed ones.
