Quote: " Well, PrestonC, i moved to dark basic for its multiplayer reasons"
When using DirectPlay or any other Third Party Library wasn't good enough? I mean, there is much better out there, that is easier to use, for C/C++ (even DirectPlay)!
Thats no excuse, next.
Quote: "Also i moved to it for its easy to understand format,"
C/C++'s "format" is quite easy to learn. Ask anyone at the C++ classes that they have in my school. They're jokes, but alas, everyone in there still has the basic understanding of C++, and thats only after 45, 1 1/2 hour classes, most of which were working on seperate, basic projects.
Quote: "While c is more powerfull, i dont have it memorised to every aspect, while this language can be memorized easily."
Then you should have memorized only the things that were useful to you, or you could have programmed your own library to do the hard work for you.
Quote: "I also saw it's main perpose, GAME DESIGN , and while c can do this better, this program can access the c commands with one command."
Ah, but heres a little tid bit of information. Dark Basic was programmed in C++. The compiler was written in ASM, as well as many of the commands. The other commands are routines made using C++ and DirectX. DirectX is not exclusive to C/C++.
In short, your entire statement is false. It does not access C commands, it accesses machine code which ones computer follows in order to produce the wanted results.
Man, you're a lost cause. If you knew C, then you wouldn't have gone to Dark Basic. Just because it's not exclusively for game development doesn't mean that you can't use it for that single purpose. Not to mention you've stated several things that make several people question that you've even used C before.
Now how bout you bug off and go cry to your mom, you obviously don't know what the hell you're doing, what you're saying, and you're putting up arguments that are false or incorrect. You're just another newcomer to programming, and thats that, we know it. Stop trying to impress us with that whole C deal. We know it's not true.
