Yeay! Now I donrt have to do my weapon pack installing manualy!
You know what? it would be PIMPIN if you could have a 3D posisitioning window, for the HUD.X file. like once you have it loaded, you see it in realtim and can move it around to align it.

Your signature has been erased by a mod. We don't want your pyramind schemes, thanks.
Your welcome rich Just had to add some stupid comment in there, didnt ya?

It might be better if you let people download the current build, then we could see how it works, and give advice.

YEY! (my favorite new 2 year old style comment)
Quote: "PIMPIN if you could have a 3D posisitioning window, for the HUD.X file"

Totaly! I plan to have 3D positioning/scaling windows for the HUD.x and VWep.x.

Quote: "download the current build"

wahtever you say! basicly nothing will work this instant, but in a day or two, heck maybey a couple of hours, I'll have a semi working build, then i'll totaly put it out for download. Man, I AM SOOO excited about this...

I need a bit of input peoples:

is it important to be able to preview sounds, models and tetxures, just to be sure you pick the right ones?

L8tr

EDIT:

Please post lots o sugestions, so that this can be very very "All encompasing" ok, that is wierdness... LOL

In case anyone is interested, this is the basic workflow for Weapon Creator:

1.) make model, animate*, export
2.) open WC
3.) pick theme, type name, set FPSC dir, click next, As In screeny
4.) set all media, click next, AIS(As In Screeny)
5.) scale & position hud.x model, scale VWep.x model, position MuzzleFlash
6.) pick MuzzleFlash and Ejected Bullet Shell, or pick homemade ones
7.) set MuzzleFlash Size
8.) Wait 1 second
9.) read "Published"
10.) go mess with you weapon in FPSC!

so, fairly simple!

*these steps may be done in future versions of Weapon Creatorâ„¢

It would be nice, but it's not neccessary; labeling the files properly would take care of that. You could always add that later to an update anyways.

If this was done properly, it would enable me to begin making weapons (I have stayed away from weapon creation to to the difficulties in getting them into FPSC).

That looks awesome so far. It looks so easy to use. I'm not too sure but I didn't seem to notice any weapon stats in there, like how many shots per clip, max ammo, starting ammo, or the power of the weapon. This way users could set defaults for their weapons, and this would make weapons easier to share with others, as well.

I love the sound options, as well. Keep up the good work. I'll be watching this project.

I would like to see what the gun is going to look I when I am holding it in the game. One of the problems I have with importing weapons (other than I am dense) is I can't tell what is wrong with my positioning.I just assume there's nothing wrong because I can't see my gun.Anything would be appreciated not only by me but the whole community.Thanks.

Here,
I whipped this up for you to try it on.

Tell me what the remark is in the comment of the button's code.

hehehe

I wanna see you do it.

I don't think you can do it, unless the program has serious bugs.

@Code Master
I thought re(did) stressed that redoing it meant it wasn't done, hence it was not re-done but re-did.
Nothing is ever done if you can redo it, because it never reached its finished stage.
So, I thought your title was clever.

Any1 want to try this out? i'm on the verge of adding functionality, but for now ,if u want, just try out the GUI. Does anybody have an animated weapon that they would like to be FPSC ready? I need one to try WC on. Please Email me the Weapon, and tell me the frame values for each animation.

P.S.
Weapon Creator requires the .Net framwork 2.0
