Comet's log 2014-07-14 13:58 GMT -- Just arrived in Dublin. I love the accent of everyone oh my god, I'll talk to random strangers just so I get to hear that sweet English slang that kind of sounds like a monster truck driving over bunnies.
One of the waitresses in this café just said: "I ate so many Bronies today" and it took me a few minutes of silent horror to realise she meant brownies.

Sounds fun. You seem to jet about the globe an awful lot.

I was gone, too!

Because:

^ See what I did there.
Quote: "Out of curiosity how popular is metal and punk in the UK? I've noticed a lot of that music comes from the UK."
Dunno about Punk, but the stronghold for Metal is Europe in general nowadays -- at least most of the decent stuff. Very little that the US/UK can offer, IMHO.
Quote: "Anyone who doesn't know Monty Python shouldn't be on these forums."
Indeed.
Quote: "Maybe start a WIP thread in GC? [I just wish we could double post in GC WIP threads...]"
Nothing wrong with double-posting when it is something non-trivial. You got told off by whichever mod a couple of weeks back because you were needlessly double-posting in a manner which, though probably unintentional, came across as spam/bumping. It's perfectly legit to double-post a serious update.

No. Windows 8 is an abomination
Quote: "I believe IE11 on Windows 8 actually silent updates now actually..."
I don't see how this is a good thing. Software should not perform any activity without user-consent. Auto-updates should not be enabled by default on any device.
Quote: "I have actually, it's a little better but it still doesn't compare to chrome."
Getting an E for math is "better" than getting an F, lol.
Six Horses:
There were six horses, where could they be?
Doing the garden or watching TV?
One day, I play, the fiddle of bread
Little Tommy falls on his head
The clouds danced naked, around the fire
My Candy, you are a liar
Piggy-wiggy-woggy-woo
What the hell must I do with you?
