Can I ask you good people of these forums to state whatever religion you follow for a poll? Not why you follow it. Just what you follow.

I am Atheist... So technically i follow nothing

(Please, no debating. Just... Whatever your "faith" is)

May I ask what for what reason you are holding this poll? Is it for a project a survey or what?

Whatever it is, I am a Buddhist.

You should also note where they come from, would be quite interesting

I am an atheist and I'm from England

England
1 Buddhist (50%!)
1 Atheist (50%!)

I'm going to run a sub-study into how long it takes for this thread to become the motive for another war

Ah countries now, then I am a Buddhist from England...

Does state of mind count? because I am clinically insane (they said brain surgery wouldn't help me, but it would help society...) and well I think I've done a Dazzag, except I hate beer...hooray, lol...oh right, no random post, so I'll shhh...I kept it a little relevant.

If people war or turn this into a discussion, I will personally come over to their house and beat them up.

Agnostic, I sort of nitpick values from whatever religions I see fit. You could put me down as a "Rockist" lol, I sort of unofficially created my own religion back in 1998 . We pray to video game, pizza, and coca cola gods. Don't knock it, my birthday is a holiday lol.

And I live in the United States

Yes, it contradicts itself, but I really am an agnostic Muslim. To be specific, an agnostic, Quranic Muslim (to clarify, I don't believe in anything but the Quran to be the word of (if God exists,) God, in contrary to most muslims, who also believe in the Sunnah).

I'm from the Netherlands.

Officially, Jedi
Honestly, Christian (Church of England)

I registered as a Jedi for a laugh, gotta have been a few years back now; but considering it made it as an official religion figured what-the-hell and still use it on forms as my religion.

So up to you which you put, I mean as part of the Jedi faith (lol alright doesn't sound right even saying it in my head) I can believe in whatever deities I choose to.

Maybe a cross of the two... like a Jedi Christian, or Jedian, or Christdi.

[edit]
Just thought I'd post a link about this cause it's actually quite funny:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=416761&in_page_id=1770

Jedi as of 2006 is officially the 4th largest religion in the UK.
So sod it, I'm a Jedi.

To keep it simple I'm a reformed Jew from Boston.

To make it complex I'm also the inventor of belief in the Dreamer, a man made machine that maintains an alternate universe with it's massive imaginative powers. It's designed so that if you know a language it's built to respond to, you can in effect program the space around you and alter reality. You can also have it reference to written text of this language, so that you don't have to speak the entire code. different materials work better as a medium of this sort. Living flesh happens to be the most responsive. Of course belief is not needed for the Dreamer to exist, as it has yet to be created at this point in time, and therefore the man made universe it maintains is only a possiblility along one possible time line.

Leave it to programmers to image magic as a programming language

Just so people know, there's Atheist and something else (Antagonist?), Atheist is where you believe there is no god, and Antagonist (?) is where your neutral.

I think antagonist is not neutral, agnostic is neutral, and that's what I am (and muslim at the same time - go figure). An antagonist is a bad guy.

Hmmm. The dictionary definition of agnostic is:-
"a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown and probably unknowable; broadly : one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god"

An Atheist then is someone who believes there is no god. So you would still believe in something (at least the state of something at any rate). And I guess an Agnostic doesn't believe in anything one way or the other until it's shoved into your face with total 100% proof.

Hmmm, so I guess I am a British Agnostic overall. Kind of fits in with my lazy ideals (I couldn't be bothered to think of it before now). Oh, but now I live in Cyprus. And this place drips in religion.

Cheers

No, that'd mean that you don't believe that there isn't a god, but don't believe there is.

That kind of cancels itself out. Prefer the description of agnostic myself. Although I lean more heavily on the aethiest side of that one. I am an IT person after all. I mean I can count the religious IT people I've known on one hand probably, and they pretty much were all Indian.
