Bummer

The problem is the one i stated above, about it freezing and no keys or mouse movements work and I have to alt, control delete out of it.
I thought it seemed to work if no other programs were running but apparently it's still happening

If this happens when the game screen is up then right click or left click and you'll be able to move.

Hockeykid do you have it yet so that you can make a series of textures go from a timer like a video, but with say 60 textures alternating one a second. I thought there was a script for that on here, but I don't see it. If not would you be will to add that to your mod?

Why not video textures?
In which you simply put a wav/avi/something you see fit video in the texture part.

that is what I want, but I thought without a mod it was not possible yet. I can do it for a blender game, but fpsc is a totaly different thing. What I wanted to do was put a video on a plane so I don't have to make a complex model to get the same effect. Animation is simpilar than scripting a video plane for me that is why I want to do it. I know that the horror mod has that ability, but I was asking if hockeykid would also have it or if he already had someting similar and how to go about scripting it.

Yup, the video textures one is in Horror Mod, you can texture a block with a video.

I'm also adding the capability to play the video on any model.

Probably not the best idea to start talking about other mods in mod threads again

I agree. I like this mod it seems to be the only one that works well with my projects that I want to do with the exceptions of certain things like a radar, video textures, flak the does not explode but sticks on impact and a few other things that I know would benefit not just me but others.

I was reading the snake mod said and somebody said something about sending you the water code to implement it into your mod. will you be adding water? if not I am making my own water scripts and stuff.

Continue to work my friend I'm sure it'll turn out great.

PS: Sry I have never been on msn or skype, I'm a busy guy nowadays.

Heck yeah!

Uhhh... sorry to disturb you guys, but I read somewhere Fenix Mod supports EAI's meele animations... any way someone can shed some light on this please?...

I know I have to delete the semi-colons, but then what do I press to use the melee? Thanks!

You'll need to wait for the next release of the mod to access those features.

Not the "exact same" but there are only a hand full of ways to do water . Interesting fact though

You got your water from Wiz Mod, Wiz Mod got its water from a water example that evolved made to show off his water shaders.

I'm getting a build error.

path runtime error when loading sky. is this a correct diagnosis? I have built games before using this version of fenix mod, but it just stopped working with this build. every level I built since the error gets the same problem, no matter what skybox.

It has something to do with huds, make sure you didn't delete any files (huds) the engine tries to carry over. such as the numeric.dds and noshader etc

I wanted to get better sliders right now I'm just using small black squares. If someone (anyone) would like to make me new ones I need:

one for

water red slider
water green slider
water blue slider
water raise slider
water fog red slider
water fog green slider
water fog blue slider
water fog distance slider
water speed slider

and finally a semi transparent background for them to "sit" on"

if possible I'd like them to look "bubbly" (not like bubbles) like X10 ones and my only thought on what they should look like is the ones with colors should be the color they control.

Example would be water slider red

make it red

and it would be cool if these were semi transparent

Got them, but could you possible resave them as .jpg please. I would but i'm working on the mod and am in the middle of a bunch of new code so don't want to get distracted.

Also could you make the semi transparent background kinda like x10s. (when I say background I mean the box/rectangle that the sliders sit on)

Thanks
