O.K. First off, Here's the rebuild of the first pirate character.

Sure thing, I'll send the characters to you later today.

The hooks look great. I'll leave it up to you. If you need anything just let me know, and I'll get it to ya'.

I dont like to tell you this, but.. You have made a major error on the sword.
On the sabre, you have the buckler on the side of the hand, it fits around the front of the blade, it protects the front of the hand not the side of it, it looks truely bizare.
Picture search - sabre, basket sword, backsword, basket hilt etc

The characters are great though, really like them.

Love the gun....only niggle is that you should have to reload it after every shot...right?

KeithC: At the moment it's set to two shots per reload. but you can easily change that.

Fallen one: OOpps!, My bad. I'm not a sword person. It never acurred to me that it was facing the wrong way.

Like I said...just a little "niggle" on my part.

Very nice work all around! I may have a go at a level with these! Now all we need is some treasure...

People not into a subject don't notice, but to those who know the subject it drives one nuts, its like if someone was into guns and you stuck some part of the gun that was really really in the wrong place, they would go nuts with it, if you put it in a game, you would get countless mails complaining about it, its so off putting that you don't even play the game, its that annoying,

Personally Id change or swap that sword, its like sticking a clip on the barrel of a gun in a shooting game, its that glaring, it really does look bizarre and that's not hyperbole, it really does look strange. The thing forms no use, the basket protects the hand, only it doesn't. Use it for an entity as it wont be noticed and it can be stuck on walls a lot easier as its flat on one side, so will fit a wall, but Id re do for a uaseable weapon as it goes completely against hundreds of years of practical fencing sense, they made them a certain way because it worked and it developed over the years to be perfected.

Get ready for the onslaught - How dare you, Cosmic has spent hours to give me 'MY' gifts, he is the giver god and will not bee questioned about the sugared 'free' milk that flows from his teats

B4Fun had several cool very inexpensive packs that included a Treasure chest assortment. Excellent. I purchased all of her stuff. Some of the chests are animated, so that they will open. Some are empty and others are full. She even had some treasure piles.

Unfortunately, she seems to have disappeared. Her website is no longer available and she doesn't answer her emails. She gets them because they don't come back undeliverable. Her models were good and I wish she would have continued. It is sad when people burn out because of a few sour apples. If I could get a hold of her I would sell them for her. A shame they can't be had by others who could use them.

Thats totally different to point out that the sword hilt or whatever its called is on the wrong side.
Its different than saying 'this pack is SO worthless, I mean it SO doesnt have characters'
Grow up.
Now lets not start a flamewar and just forget about it.

By burn out you mean leave / ignore - this community.

And here are the original 5 characters. You can of coarse do as you like with them. Everyone can retexture thier hearts out to make more characters.

I would think that in most pirate type games, the marooned man would be you.

Can I make a suggestion to anyone wanting to make a really authentic pirate game from this pack? The following book is probably the most accessible (i.e. fun to read for non-academics) history of piracy that I've found - in particular it compares the myths of piracy with the facts of pirate life so if you want to add something of a more authentic spin to your games this is the place I'd start
