Would anyone else flying from east US/specifically the eastern seaboard be interested in organizing a flight? I can't promise anything yet, but it's cheaper for everyone if we organize one flight and split the cost of the tickets...

Mouse, how would that be cheaper? You'd all pay the price of your ticket. You make no sense, but anyhow, you should definitely go, because I MIGHT.

Yea. If your coming over from America, dont visit just for the convention as it is only for two days and I doubt its worth all that travelling for just two days, so make a week out of it. Alternatively you can organise an American convention. If it is next year ill try and get out to it. I always wanted to go to the USA anyway.

Well I was under the impression a single party getting multiple tickets on a plane was cheaper than multiple parties, but apparently I was mistaken

On the topic of US convention, anyone know what happened to the LLRGT one?

I believe it's more expensive you have to pay a party fee too, no?

Why don't we hold a transalantic convention in the middle of the ocean on a raft? We can all get drunk, program sick games involving stick figures dying grusome deaths, decide on the best one and then toss it's programmer into teh sea (with his laptop of course)

There's only one problem, of course--grounded 120volt sockets are very hard to come by in the middle of the big blue alantic

I found the form in my basement. I had to take a torch down there. I eventually found it at the bottom of a filing cabinet in a locked room with a sign that said "beware of the leopard".

For those who had previously filled in the form, you will have to do it again unfortunately. I wrote the form myself this time so it cant possibly go wrong.....

unfortunately, we can't have the convention at the ship hotel. it is being demolished to build a bypass. mnem, let me take you to the pub, you're going to need a very stiff drink...

infact, the whole world is going to be destroyed by a group of E.T. beaurocrats, to build a new hyperspace bypass, so it looks like we may need to hold the convention in another solar system.
