This is a good price I think, im sure most people will share this view.
I have plenty of time to save up and find transport, book rooms etc.

Im considering how much its going to cost me, I plan to arrive on Friday and leave on Monday.

Entry: £42
Accomodation: (3 nights) £90
Transport: (Difficult to speculate, I might get a lift)
Spending money: £100 (Probably wont need that much)

So thats £232 + transport.

Thats a good price. I'll be coming as well. Depending on progress, I may even deliver a second talk on Entropy.

Advertising is really key here. I suggest you get Rich Davey to put in an article about the Convention into next month's newsletter and then repeat the article in various forms every month until the Con. This might attract a few more punters from those people who don't visit the forums.

Also, are Lee and Mike and Ravey definitely coming? How about Rich Davey himself?

Lee and Mike are definately coming. Ravey only cares about Star Wars at this moment. Ill convince him after star wars.

Rich should come too.

£41.37 + £10 for food assuming everyone buys my drinks again (i dont recall buying a a single drink formyself, out of all the 20 bottles of ginger beer i had... or should i not have said that???)

round to £50. i'm going to aim to stay just the 1 night, so just £30 for accomodation.

i'll be driving myself but probably on my mums tank of petrol and i'm hoping whoever i give a lift to will share the costs of any petrol i have to top-up.... umm... im not experienced with petrol etc... how much would it normally cost in fuel for a new VW polo to drive from birmingham to chichester???

i remember last yr the whole affair came to £250... i blame this on my parents going on a power trip and taking it into their own hands, trying to sort it out for me to get the cheapest deal possible and then screwing up miserably, im doing it all myself this yr so i know i'll be better off

Well it's official name is Nude-Con

That's N00bified Users of DarkBASIC Extravaganza Convention

It's where some of the darkbasic users in the UK get together and get drunk and get in troubles.

starting driving lessons next week, hopefully i'll pass before the convention, even more hope that i'll pass before the october half term, since my mates are planning a road trip to dubai, and I'd like the experience of driving on the left- it looks fun.

Haha, well im quite used to not sleeping.

Hopefully I will be arriving on Friday during the day like last time, or in the early evening. Last time I had chance to get a bath and a couple of hours nap before going to meet everybody at the hotel.

I'm booked, well at the hotel at least, Squigy, how did you want the money for attending?

I'm coming from Hemel Hempstead if anyone nearby will need a lift though I'll be leaving on the Friday and coming back on the Monday.

What does the £41.37 get us?
Is that for the hire of the room and do you need it upfront or can that wait until we get there?
