I've just looked at the schedule and it looks a little bit light. I'm sure we could squeeze in another talk and, as luck would have it, I have an idea I'd like to put forward.
Basically, how about an "open forum"? What I'd suggest is that well before the Convention actually happens you ask people to submit DBPro questions by email, preferably well written questions, which could range from daft as a brush to terribly sophisticated, to put to the floor (i.e. everyone present). People can then volunteer what they think the answer is to the question. The questions could range from everything from: what is the possible bug in this code snippet (display the code snippet on the overhead projector) through to: "how might you go about solving this bit of code" to "what are your thoughts on this DBPro issue?" This should generate some debate and also people might learn some good coding tips from it.
There is usually this kind of "open forum" discussion at the end of most of the legal conventions and seminars I go to and its almost always of decent value.
Its also an opportunity to let people participate who are not otherwise able to attend. If they have a burning question, they can email it to you. After the Con we can post the question and the answer on a website.
Finally, are we going to have a mini-competition this year?
