i don't know why either, it may be to save tri's but i think i also done it, so you don't need to animate it, as stupid as that sounds, just that little flick backwards, but i suppose its just a waste of memory, despite it being the thing which actually gives you control of the gun, lol
yeah im up for giving it as a prize when the time comes
after editing some FPSC sounds, it appears i can get some neat sound effects just from weapons like the "commando" with different alterations for different guns.
but then i cant really sell the pack then, to people intending to use in a DB Pro game, or can i?
people have released texture alterations, thus, sound variations should stay fine right? as long as its distributed to the right people? in any case, just provide information that the models within this pack can be used for any multi-purpose, yet not the sounds...
ah, too confusing, i might just buy some royalty free sounds off the Internet, using them.
but i haven't tried much recording yet, I'll continue to see what i can get...
EDIT:
wait, yes, i can distribute them, because the pack installs into the FPSC directory, so it becomes FPSC material, its only really the person who goes in to grab the models and go elsewhere, that shouldnt be taking the sounds in the first place...right?
as long as FPSC material is contained within FPSC, then its the users responsibility (ofcourse, i will mention NOT to use those sounds elsewhere)
can a mod fill me in on this?
