Nice models! This game will be amazing! Even the test scene looks great

A bit offtopic but, you will be shocked!:

Watch it, laugh about it, but don' t dare to write about it in this thread!

......................................................

Those screens will give the game another fresh look! And you get rid of stock media. If you can get me a good and clear UV Map of these objects, you' ll have a texture artist.

@The Master Dinasty,

You obviously cant read.

@TerrorNation,

Thank you.. it seems that people want to make this thread off topic.

@Xaden,

Why thank you!

Question to people watching this thread:

What kind of entities do you think would make this game more interesting? It could be props, scenery, anything.

No problem.

Regarding your question..

I think that maybe a large computer mainframe entity where you have to hack for data to find out more about Biotech?

The obvious thing: Gore/Body Parts.

The other: A good pallette of different lightentities is great!

@Deltayo,

Alright, that's a fair enough excuse. Everybody else in future should pay attention though.

@Wolf,

Definatley. Gore would be a good addition!

@TerrorNation,

There's a few mainframe type entities in the stock selection so maybe a few spiced up retextures will help add some variety.

@Lewis, I'd say for the nice lobby area, some potted plants and posters that promote various things in the game and maybe an easter egg one. But obviously it's up to you.

I'll go with Wolf and Imperfect Sheep to add gore and a few Easter Eggs (I love in-game secrets), but I think that a fairly low amount of gore could be nice, not where every room has been re-painted with the stomach of a random person xD. Perhaps you could make weapons harder to find since I think the demo's weapons let the game flow by itself instead of me putting any real effort in lol. I don't really mind what you add in. I'll be bound to like it (yes, that's what she said ).

Update:

I apologize for the delay, but certain personal and real life issues have been snagging my work right now.

I'm been working on the script and the starting level some more, trying to make some custom sitting animations (to no avail, but I shall keep trying) to make the lobby scene more active. Also I am going to be doing a series of retextures for the staff so they seem more unique instead of the same character model.

I'll be updating the lobby scene with the new entities and rextextures once I get them done and then I will post more screenshots.

I will also release an audio update on my youtube some time this week.

Again, sorry for the delay, but sometimes real life issues are higher priority than FPSC.

This has nothing to do with the game, but what software did you use to record gameplay with sound and great quality?

Everything I've tried has given me unsteady frame rates, no sound recorded and poor quality.

Thanks for your time.

@TerrorNation,

Try Audactiy, I use that and it's quite a handy program.

Good to hear AP's still in development anyway, I couldn't see this going down the drain so easily.

@ Lewis- What have you been using for cutscenes? I know of a couple of programs that could really help out in that department. One is iClone. Costs around $250.00 - $300.00 fully loaded. The other is Moviestorm. Cost- Free. Hope this helps.

P.S.- Would it be okay with you if Biotech Industries is mentioned in my game?

@TerrorNation

You can use fraps (paid for of course) or wegame recorder, which is free.

@SikaSina Games,

I'm still working on it bit by bit.. It's just I have so much on my plate right now >_< I'll try to check the forums now and then.

@Metal Devil123,

I dont think that'd be useful.. it's only used for props.

@Chris Redfield 2008,

I script my cutscenes.. for the videos however, I make them in sony vegas.

As for biotech, In what way would they be mentioned?

PS Are you still doing voice acting for other projects (I once saw one of your threads saying you did it for like 15p per line or something)?

My game (I won't mention here as I'd be advertising ) is in need of voice acting as I've been using other placeholders in my storyline until I found a voice actor.
