Server seems to be up again. I have a sneaky suspicion that Baggers purposfully sabotaged his servers to concentrate on exams. -_-

Thanks 'young', however this thread will soon be locked.
Nope I havnt given up but this thread is a bit too cluttered now so i've asked VanB to lock it for me and I will start a new thread in a week or so's time when the new updater is ready.
Its going to be great, im working on it right now. The method of downloading updates has completly changed, all files are kept in check by a MySQL database.
Ive written the first page, where you can get the latest news on the project and run the game or editors, and am currently working on the Updates page. I can now retrieve the list from the server, im just writting the code to compare the list to the files stored on your machine to see what needs updating.

Next on the list of things to do is Mods, this will be the section where you can download other user's levels, music, enemies, etc...

Here are some screenshots of the GUI.

[EDIT]
=====
Updates are nearly fully working now.
Porcessing the list you see used to be slow but that has been optimised now.
Also the program checks the dates that files were updated to make sure you have the latest version and also to avoid downloading needless updates.
One thing I do aswell is make sure that JazzCore can update itself so that I dont have to ask users to delete their old version and install a new one each time I make a change.
Well im back off to coding !
