I advise you use a modified version of this for your animation, NOT externally animated models. Using this, you can go as slow as you want.

Nice! Maybe we should set a framerate though(60 maybe?) Anyway, this is exactly what we needed to start of branching into other things.

I coded player collision (using Sparky's DLL) and gravity. Might post source code if somebody is actually going to start helping me code.

@Duke Blue Devils : If you need any trees, just download one of my treepacks for fpsc on my site, get the .x files out and one .dds file (texture) and use this in darkbasic (ONLY ONE TEXTURE FILE)
load image "trava.dds (or whatever it`s called),1
load object "something.x",1
load object "something.x",2
load object "something.x",3
Texture object 1,1
Texture object 2,1
Texture object 3,1

Just showing what i meanth, ofcourse i know you have player set as object one and map as object two and etc.

I need models for traffic lights, garbage cans, etc. Also need models for things inside office buildings. I really need to get milkshape.

Also I'm having a little trouble with collision. For some reason it's not working properly. I try tweaking it but I'll post the source asap.

I'm not sure you can. I always use bitmaps for background images. Then you can paste it to the screen each time if you have to.
I'm the one who suggested using google earth in the first place.

NOPE, ofcourse no, just i`m not quite sure how much helpfull a link is, sorry, i already found many sites with textures, or just textures using google image search, but giving credits isnt a problem.
