This is a loopable techno track i made a few weeks ago. I was originally going to sell it in TGC store when i got my account, but i've decided to give it away, as it definately isn't one of my best. It's called "Code Red", and it's intended to get your adrenaline pumping. I kept the bass at a minimum, but not too much, as it plays a big role in the track. If it sounds horrible from too much bass, you probably need better speakers, and like i say for all of my music- I recommend having a subwoofer or good quality speakers that can handle the bass.

That's my contribution

Cheers, Jake

Well that was a rather smelly cheese whiff, I spent 30 minutes on this HUD to find out it wasn't the right resolution height-wise and width-wise (it's not my monitor resolution, Print Screen captures it at the PC's overall resolution which is 1820x1020). I've attached a screen of it, and does anyone know the default resolution for FPSC X9/X10?

The default resolution for FPSC X9 is 1024x768.

Here is a scifi toilet that is not yet textured.

Ah, that might be why "/ I had the HUD as 1280x720 lol. I'll still attach it ASAP anyway, can't remember if I upscaled it to 1824x1020 for my screen .

thats because normal mapping makes everything nice, and i can't get it to work for me. You know, i think the fourms overall would look good normal mapped, where when you moved your cursor, the shine would change.... HAHAHA that would be great!!!!!

I dont agree with everything should be normal mapped. It makes everything look soaked. I see some normal maps that are way overdone and they look ugly.

Well, it depends on the intensity of your normal map, even a light one makes it better.

Sure, what do you have in mind? My plan was to make an unarm version with it and maybe a classic weapon. Just drop me an email and I'll get started on what I do have and go from there.

Not at all. It was late last night when I finished it and I threw it into blender to give it a glamour shot and make the normal. I saw the first few seconds of it and thought I will just post it, cause it looked good. The textures took awhile to assemble. Blender's projection painting is worth it as you can see on both the hand and the helmet.

Here is the models without the normals. Note the white in the helmet glass is transparent, just easier to work with in milkshape.
