Quote: "space junk...."
I did not create any. I wanted them to be more like a worm reproduces. LOL

Ok for right now this is the last until I go take a nap. I wanted something large to fill space like an airport or mall, so I made a large pillar for all. Also I made this video to show it off.

Cp, it has been sent to your email. Enjoy!

VIDEO:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QpBIhfVzds

EDIT:
Bond1 I have one of your models I editeda year or two ago and would like to add it to the pack with your permission. I edited the bikini girl to a 60's style space girl with a hint of seven of nine from star trek. You can see her in the video.

Quote: "No, don't put clothes on that alien. It wouldn't be so alien-ish anymore. It would be guy in a costume. Why would alien be wearing clothes in the first place?"

I was only joking, hence the smiley at the end. .

Quote: "Well, aliens would wear cloths so they don't see eachothers space junk...."

They would probably be intelligent enough to see procreation as something beautiful, not something dirty.
So, they would be comfortable walking around in their birthday suits, because that is only natural.

Sorry for my joking getting off topic and please let's not get into a discussion about whether Aliens wear clothes or not, because neither side can prove anything.
I am sorry I brought it up.
Back on topic...

The alien looks fine as it is. (it's beautiful)

Quote: "Bond1 I have one of your models I editeda year or two ago and would like to add it to the pack with your permission. I edited the bikini girl to a 60's style space girl with a hint of seven of nine from star trek. You can see her in the video."

I was going to say just include you custom texture for those who have her, and those who don't have her can go buy his pack.
But, I see now that you modified her mesh (love the helmet by the way).

Is that background music in your video a theme song from one of the Jurasic Park movies???
I know it from somewhere. (it is a very nice score)

That In-Game Advertising Billboard ROCKS! (one day this idea won't be taken for granted as much as it is now)
Got Milk? lol
Public service announcements are something to consider, but so is any propaganda.

I won't comment on all the cool things in there, because I am watching it over and over to catch all the detail.
The conveyor, the game board (I forget the name of the game but I recognize it); it is all so cool.

Looking great and a well staged video.

Now I have to go back to work on making my part cooler.

I did edit her mesh. I cut off her ponytail and added the helmet. I did that when I first started my mars one project to have here as like a stewardess.

Quote: "Is that background music in your video a theme song from one of the Jurasic Park movies???"

Yes, I have it on my computer, but I never use it.

Quote: "The conveyor, the game board"

The conveyor was something I made for a project that wetham has yet to respond to. As far as some of the models in the video, some are from my star trek game(the game board{chess} are model rips), but the rest are in my mega pack only being hosted on blackfox's site.

This you can get in the store.

I have many other things I would like to do for this project, but my 4 day weekend is over. Do enjoy!

I have made a variation on the support pillars to allow for more design for a level. I must say this, with the right lighting and room they really make the level pop, but I don't want to toot my own horn. See for yourself.

Edit: Cp sent you the models.

Hey... I know I said I'd make some music for this pack...
But I won't. Because I'm too lazy. I mean, I'm not too lazy to make music, it's just that if I make something, it's too precious to be put somewhere so people could use it, LOL.

...Sorry.

But I could make some textures for segments, overlays, and signs if someone else made them FPSC-ready, since I'm too lazy to make anything FPSC-ready.

Yea thats kinda... like not cool at all. We have a lot of DJ's here that produce whole sounds tracks and give them away for free. Not to mention the time it takes cosmic and other modelers to create high quality free media, so that people like you can download and use. As starmind said, somethings are just better left unsaid.

lol
I know what you mean, for lazy people, it's like they only make a few things in a lifetime, so they are precious.

That is more reason to share though, because sticking Mona Lisa in a closet gives us one less thing to smile about.

Quote: "Now I just feel insulted."

I think he was just joking around about his being lazy.
It's all good

I am finished with my help for the teleporter, and I have sent Cosmic Prophet the ZIP.
So, it is all in his capable hands now to make those final touches.

Now, I can go back to being lazy... Battlefield Vietnam here I come...

I have been tweaking my alien for fun and I have added another animation to it. I have a few others I will put in. Also I have added another feature for v1.17 update which will be the ability to blink it's eyes. I will update that when the update comes out, but for now here is a screenie. Enjoy!

I didn't mean that.
I meant a COMPLETELY different thing.
By saying "too precious to be put for people to be used", I meant that I myself will use the music somewhere. If I put the music here, I couldn't...
My whole life isn't FPSC, and if I make a good song, I won't use it for FPSC projects... Those who are GOOD musicians most probably feel the same way...
And another reason I might've sounded like a dork is that english isn't my normal language...

And don't people understand what lol means...?

Why can't you use it? just request for people to add you to credits, take youtube for a perfect example. All the good music producers who create the epic trailer music for videos have their music used ALL the time. They require credit though, you can still use your songs outside of FPSC.

Don't be so hard on yourself it looks good. What looks or sounds bad to you can always be something someone else is looking for and vice versa. Keep working you will get the hang of it.

I have some more for this pack. I spent better part of today making it and I hope you all will enjoy having it. I made a weapon to resemble the moonraker laser from 007. Enjoy!

And Cp, I have sent you some revisions and this weapon.

Sorry, I'm not good in english enough to really explain what I mean...

But anyway. I don't want to make this thread a flamewar, so...
I'm making some textures and menu things. So...
Here's a loading(?) screen I did, and... well, it's meant to be a guy abducted into an UFO...

...though, I don't know if menu images are welcome to the pack...?

If that isn't welcome, imma be angry.

Anyhow, just one tip for the lazer gun, show the lazers being fired. Also, I was just thinking, should we try so all weapons in this pack have the same hand texture?

Also, whens the deadline for making models for this pack?

Just a tip, what if I did not create it with a laser beam? Then what? LOL But since you asked so nicely for a laser show, here you go:

Quote: "I was just thinking, should we try so all weapons in this pack have the same hand texture?"

I would say to make all weapons with the same hands leads to just making new hands later. Going with what I have done with both of my weapons they of course use the spacesuit hands, but if someone has a weapon they want to have rigged to it, I would more than happy to make it for them. Before you go sending me models, note I will be releasing the milkshape file with the pack so that you might be able to create your own weapons with it. I won't release it until Cp says today's the day for the release.

Sorry, we cant use the segment until it's distribution rights are confimed.

Here's a short video showing off the new Telesporter. The system is designed with 4 destination pads that can be placed anywhere in your level. You choose your destination from the interactive computer screen, the unit fires up, and you will be transported to the chosen location.

Beam me up Scotty!!!

A big "Thanks" to "Bond1" for his awesome animation shader.

Cp,I have something else for you once I get it animated right. Well, I guess it is more than just one thing, but something none the less.
I do have to ask conjured, I have something I am working on and it will need about the same level of scripting as the teleporter, if you are up to the challenge. Actually about three things. I will try to get them fiished this weekend, but I have a feeling it will be more later in the week. Let me know.

Wow, i am very impressed by these models, textures, animations and scripting.

Great work!

Seems there are 3 textures or more on that computer screen...and the animation shader does start after the player has activated the teleporter.

How did you do that?

btw:
Maybe i am wrong...but it seems the player moves sideways when pressing the arrow keys. There is a extreme simple workaround for that. Just add a plrfreeze=200 to the line with the scancodekeypressed=x condition....like that:

:state=20,plrdistwithin=80,scancodekeypressed=203:plrfreeze=200,state=30

200 milliseconds are to short for the player to realise that he got "frozen" but it's long enough to avoid the movement.
There remains only a slithly nodding when plr presses the key which gives a cool visual feedback.
