I have a question... is Katie as cute in person as her cartoon?
Cause if you can't make it, can you send her?

Need to sort some things out yet, like transport and such.
Hopefully next months pay, won't take as long as this months to go in.

Baffled about that actually. Payments usually take 3 days to clear, if that. It's been about a week though I think. hmm ho hum, just have to hope that my bank won't get miffed at another missed payment.
(no angry letters yet, not sure if that's a good or bad sign)

November is going to be interesting.

Thats a point. I suppose I'd better book my accommodation as well. Bouncy, is it at the Ship again?

At least I know where that is this year so I don't have to drive all around Chichester to find it.

I was clicking on the web button (which didn't work) - your signature does work (can see your signature & avatar)...

When pressing the web button, I get :

I've just booked a room at The Ship hotel. It cost me about £79 which is very reasonable imho. I'll only be staying over Friday night for the reasons already explained (I have to rush back to London early on Saturday afternoon).

Hey all,
As luck would have it, I'm going to be in the UK at the time of the convention. I'll be heading there on the 4th of November and returning anywhere from the 11th to the 13th. If I return on the 13th, I *might* be able to drop by on the 12th.
During most of my trip, I'll be staying in Bournemouth which isn't too far away from the convention! So, care to have a trans-Atlantic visitor come crash the party? lol

See my website for a map of the exact place of the hotel and the proposed schedule...

If you dont have anywhere to stay, and your in England, say a week before the convention, I can send a accomidation guide (same goes for any other person who has only just decided whether to come or not).

I'll be sending out a 'who's coming' post soon-ish, from which I can e-mail contact details and what-not.

@Wolf

In answer to your question, if you come to the UK Con, you will not only make it the first ever Transatlantic one, but you'll meet some huge names:

Lee Bamber - TGC God
Mike Johnson - TGC Demi-God
(Possibly) Ravey Milton - TGC Demi-God

not to mention great names from the DBPro community. These include:

TCA, IanM, RobK, Mnem, theDarthster, BatVink etc. etc. etc.
oh, and me

If that isn't reason enough to attend, what is?

Indeed.

If you want to meet the aforementioned bear-in-human-disguise you will need to arrive on Friday.

By the way, I had a hard time finding accomodation today, so those that dont have rooms yet...BOOK IMMEDIATELY.
