When my older brother had LIVE, he downloaded them.

As for Kola, it's all coming along very slowly, just be patient.

Oi, please, stay on topic.

Y'know, I know it's your thread, but stop talking about XBox Live and work on Kola!!!

If you want to exchange XBox info, e-mail is the best way to go. I personally want to go to a showcase thread and see progress not:

Change of plans, people. Saddle up.

Kola will have around 25-30 levels due to some levels being broken up into parts. Level 1 will be an abandoned building; for Level 2, I'm thinking of making it a missile silo. How's that? Not much of a hassle, making a derelict building. And I doubt I've ever seen a missile silo as an FPSC level setting, so thee'll be some creativity there.

And your dreams of a new AI come crashing down!

OMG AI. What is wrong with you? Honestly, I want to know. In your last thread you said
Quote: "If you people are going to keep dissing me and all that other crap, I'll pack my bags and move to somewhere else."

Well prepare to leave because this is going to turn into a flame fest. You apologized saying you will change and that is exactly what you did NOT, I repeat, did NOT do. You asked us what level 1 should be. We told you so do it. Don't change it. Make it a warehouse. Get over it. If you don't like it too bad. I for one will be much happier if you release a terrible level opposed to nothing at all.

Okay now that's said and done. I have xbox live. If you want to know my gamertag chuck me an email. Though I won't be on for a bit. Didn't do so good in school and got my power cord taken away lol.

Oh and don't tell us how many levels Kola will have when you haven't even started level 1.

I feel mean now.

Okay, okay, jeez. I will work on a warehouse, and see where I can go with that.

And the number of levels is just a rough idea. It may or may not be that amount.

AI, I suddenly feel like we're zooming back into the 150 other dropped games\threads that you have worked on. Good that you're finishing up the warehouse though.

Hre's what I have so far for level 1. I decided to go for that abandoned industrial feel, similar to that of RF's Lemur-based multiplayer level.

Yes, it's the warehouse. It's an abandoned, derelict warehouse, though.

well it looks TOO abandoned. Maybe add some boxes or something. IMO the pillars are out of place, you have the floor and the ceiling made out of wood but you have steel pillars??

Anyway don't let people like me (critics) scare you away, keep working on this project... You promised!! lol

...and change the windows, they're too....posh to be in an industrial setting.....

Go to www.fpscreator.de and search Big Pack Alfa, it has some great industrial windows you could do with.....

I was skeptical about you making a new thread, prove me wrong, mate.....

Here is another screen on the same floor; I am in the hallway at the back of the room in pic #6 looking at the radiator. I improved the windows and added a light inside of them.

7\10. Looks nice but you should get Inspire's paper overlays to add to the floor. And raise the wall light on the right.

What is it with people and putting that damned fluorescent light fixture on walls? COZ did it loads in his game, and it annoyed the heck out of me because it's not realistic. Thoses lights really bug your eyes in real life, I should know I have several in my room for the reptiles I keep, it would make no sense to have one halfway down a wall because it would constantly be in people's eyelines blinding them.

Screens are looking better but please god stop the annoying "updates" that have about as much content as a McChicken Nugget, oui?

I do have them, but I don't know how I should align them directly to the ground. When I press Enter, they Z-clash.

OK, this whole game designing thing is bugging me. Level 1 will now currently be undecided until I can write a full story for the whole game. I'll post it here when it's finished.

I apologize for temporarily reverying back to my old ways, but at least I'm not quitting Kola altogether. As Inspire or someone else said, "Old habits die hard." I don't know what my deal is, I've got all these ideas, but I can't keep one for a week or else my brain will IMPLODE! Try to go through this with me: I can't design a game, or even finish one, because I cannot come up with a idea for level ONE!! ONE!!! I can't finish level one or else...I don't know. Try to imagine Lewis Black saying all this, that's where the humor is.

I'll just write a story, post it here, then come up with an idea for level 1. Deal?

Two turtles, two lizards and a snake. Great hobby to be in.

AI, if you want to take a break to come up with a storyline, that's fine by me, but don't update this topic with storylines you came up with an hour beforehand. Make a storyline, and work it into a level, that way you'll realise if you like it enough to stick to it. Don't post another topic until you have some serious development. All of your threads have been a shambles, make sure you have something made and tweaked to your liking before you post.

@ TeamASP: Why would you spam my thread? And yes, I've been to that site, it's very handy for people like EAI when they're making realistic weapons.
@ Slayer222: Spot on!
@ Paul112: I'm pretty sure I can stick to this. It's been, what, 5 months (counting the other Kola thread) since I've clung to this game.

It's the FPSC showcase; your story's not worth a crap without a screen, I really don't blame Tatters.

This is exactly what I didn't want you to do AI. You took a VERY brief break to "work on the storyline", but instead you made one and threw it on here without trying it out with a level. Make the damned industrial park, THEN post the storyline, not the other way around.

I deleted the story because level 1 is gonna change...again....

I think level 1 should be where the story will be started, and continue onwards. It is going to be swapped to a warehouse (an indoor industrial park, who've though!), so technically, it is changed, but it is also now changed. Weird, eh? Progress will start soon, just be patient.
