Interesting ... for some reason I thought that the site was going to look ... well different, like more dark and spooky, but that was just what I expected. Sorry if I somehow sounded like a "donkey".

Over'all it looks good.

EDIT : Just to clarify I was talking about the site.

$10 or even $15 sounds good. Well I guess it depends on depth though.

I think $10 sounds good for a game of this quality, maybe make a version for $15 and add a few levels and multiplayer. Cant wait to see this being released count me in as a customer.

I think $10 for any FPSC game is fair as long as it is fun to play and you get to play for at least a few hours.

I think THIS game is worth far more than $10 and that CoZ should weigh the cost to produce vs. the fair market value of the competition. I think he'd see that $10 is giving it away. Rant complete.

Me to Darkfact. I'm not just saying that because I'm working with him. I'm not even getting paid for this. I just wanted to help. $15
would be my stand.

Demon Sun is a quality game, it is worth alot more than $10 but by raising the price you can cut out alot of the potiental market such as FPSC users..which alot are under 16. I think a good solution would be to give a discounted price to FPSC forums users and have a seperate commerical price for normal buyers.
I think $20 would be a good normal price for an indie devolped game, and maybe $15 for FPSC buyers. If the game is popular seperate addons could be devolped for extra income, such as "hardcore addon" which adds a new level of difficulity to the game etc. COZ has alot of options open to him, and much to consider but im sure he will make the right choice.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the replys. I have taken in your advice and have come to the conclusion that the final price should be $15 for FPSC users, and $20 internet price. The 'Hardcore' option might be hard to add on due to FPSC has no set difficulity, apart from increasing the enemies health, but that would kinda suck.

Regarding atmosphere, this game has everything. I mean really everything. Who thought that our lighting was good, has never played Demon Sun.

The effect with the storyvideo of approaching Zombies was overwhelming. The lack of HUD is great, we thaught about that, too, but we couldn`t include it because we were afraid to become sued by Bethesda whose Cthulhu game was the first FPS without HUD.

Nice self-made items and segment. Good texturing, very good music.

However, I`m quite curious if you can maintain such a suspense over some hours, not some minutes

@nakidno: It's a button alignment error that occurs on some systems. I cannot repeat it on my development or gaming computers.

To help us out, can you give me your computer specs and the screen resolution that your computer was set to when trying to run the demo? Please see if changing your computer screen resolution to 1024x768 or 1280x1024 gives you the error.

@CoZ: I'll fix this and send you the update. I'll also re-upload the demo to my server so you get faster downloads.

CoZ: It's nothing major. I had the error trapping for that function go to a text file for testing, but never got an error. I'm just going to change the code to keep the app running on that error. It won't effect anything. It's no biggie. I'll change this as soon as I get home.

Wow, I just played it, and I actually jumped a couple times. Especially the part where you flick the switch to open the door, and Mack shows up. Did not expect it.

Your game really does look superb. I can't wait to play the entire game. BOTB material right here, my friend.

I just played it. The *new* sightjacking is really great! It took a second to see what was happening, but then it clicked.

I found a spot with lag in the last room as you approach the bloody bed(?) in the corner across from the axe on the wall. Other than that, the FPS was steady at 33 the whole time.

The different gun is also an improvement, but I shot damn near all my rounds at the first or second scare...It dropped from nowhere! Great work man.

Yeah, it works now and the only thing i can say is : Awesome job buddy! Keep up the greatest FPSC horror game EVER!

My review:

Graphics : 4/5 The custom stuff is really good, but some objects looks crapy, like the stairs in one place.

Sound/Music : 5/5 The athmospheric sounds scared me the most, it's silent hill class! The player voices are really nice made to!

Gameplay : 4/5 The gameplay was smooth, hardly any lag. And the athmosphere of the well made interiors was superm!

Overall : 4/5 This is the scariest FPSC game i have ever played in my lifetime!
